Lady Moon & The Eclipse to Hold Live Album Release

Led by vocalist Ngonda Badila, aka Lady Moon, the Brooklyn-based collective Lady Moon & The Eclipse features artists originally from the Republic of the Congo, France, Japan, New York, and Chicago. Together, they form a soulful gumbo of R&B and Afrobeat-influenced music that The New York Times calls "neosoul with a cross-genre bent... charmingly retro with rich harmonies." The band has toured extensively across the United States, opening for Kamasi Washington, Amanda Palmer, Maxi Priest, and Tank and the Bangas.

With a marked emphasis on inclusivity and spiritual unity, Lady Moon & The Eclipse's live experience is a loving celebration of growth and positive change. Through soaring vocal textures and funky rhythms, the band's inspirational music explores the infinite journey to become one's best self. As a bonus for true fans, all advance tickets to this show will include a CD copy of Lady Moon & The Eclipse's debut EP, Believe. Advance ticket buyers can pick up their EP at the box office on the day of the show.

Following packed shows at Brooklyn Bowl, National Sawdust and le Poisson Rouge, Lady Moon & The Eclipse's concert at Uncharted will feature the live performance premiere of Journey to the Cosmic Soul, the band's soon-to-be-released debut full-length album. Ken Reichi, the band's drummer, says, "Following two years of writing and refining these songs on stage and in the studio, we are honored by the opportunity to debut the complete song cycle with this very special set at Greenwich House Music School." Live dance from Imani Nzinga and Alexandria O'Neal, special guest percussionist Kala Brameof the conscious hip hop and jazz collective Kala and the Lost Tribe, and specially commissioned video projections will further bring Lady Moon & The Eclipse's vision into vibrant life.

Lady Moon & The Eclipse released their debut EP, Believe, in 2016, and are currently finalizing the recording of their concept album, Journey to the Cosmic Soul, due in June 2019 on digital platforms, CD and limited-edition double-vinyl. The video for their newest single off Journey, "Global Warning" will be released this April.
