Kodak Black Announces New Album, 'Dying to Live'

Atlantic recording artist Kodak Black has announced the release of his highly anticipated new album. DYING TO LIVE arrives everywhere on Friday, December 14th. Today's DYING TO LIVE album announcement is joined also by the release of the companion video for Kodak's single "ZEZE" featuring Travis Scott and Offset.

DYING TO LIVE will include the recently released Ben Billions produced track, "Take One" and "If I'm Lyin, I'm Flyin," - the video for which now boats over 29 million views. DYING TO LIVEmarks Kodak Black's first full length release since his debut R&B album "Heartbreak Kodak" from earlier this year. "Heartbreak Kodak" came on the heels of "Project Baby Two: All Grown Up," the deluxe edition of the chart-topping mixtape, "Project Baby Two." "Heartbreak Kodak" showed a different side of Kodak, exploring his vocal ability and new melodies to create his own R&B sound.

"ZEZE" featuring Travis Scott and Offset was released just last month and debuted at #1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart and has since collected over 300M+ global streams. The hit track, which garnered massive internet buzz and anticipation when Kodak teased on Instagram, is joined today by a companion video. The viral track is also featured on DYING TO LIVE.

In addition to releasing his own tracks, Kodak was recently seen on the smash hit, "Wake Up In The Sky" with Gucci Mane and Bruno Mars. The track, along with companion video, now amassing over 34 million views, marks the first collaboration between the three labelmates. Kodak is beginning to hit the stage yet again, recently having performed at the Supreme pop up event at New York's 1OAK.

To kick off 2018, Kodak Black released the official video to his hit track, "Roll In Peace" featuring xxTentacion - the video has since amassed over 77 million views. 2017 saw Kodak rack up several impressive certifications including, his album "Painting Pictures" certified gold, smash single "Tunnel Vision" is certified 2x platinum, "No Flockin" is certified platinum and his collaboration with PnB Rock, "Too Many Years" is certified gold. To round out 2017, Kodak Black was named on both Rolling Stone's and Complex's "Best of 2017" lists, as well as Billboard's "21 Under 21" list.
