Katy Perry and Lady Gaga Are VMA's Top Performers

With shocking performances by Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, and the reunion of *N'sync, this year's VMAs were one of the most explosive in history. Katy Perry and Lady Gaga have been holding positions in Amazon's top 10 positions ever since the release of their singles last week. Perry at number 2 and Gaga following at number 7.

Surprisingly, their performances gave a boost to some of their holder hits. Perry's performance caused her single 'Hot 'N' Cold' to jump 97 spots in MP3 purchases. Also, Gaga's 'Bad Romance' jumped an incredible 125 spots after she performed last night.

The two pop superstars weren't the only singers that saw ratings increases following the VMAs. N'Sync, following their brief reunion, saw their greatest hits album fall into the top 20 movers & shakers list.

Miley Cyrus, after her unique performance, saw her new single 'Wrecking Ball' jump all the way to the top of the movers & shakers list.

'Sexy Back', one of Justin Timberlake's biggest hits, went up 55% in sales after his nearly 20 minute performance, including the N'SYNC reunion.
