Kate Davis Trio

An astonishingly polished twenty-something who has already performed at The Kennedy Center, the Blue Note and Dizzy's Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Kate Davis mesmerizes audiences with her preternatural ease at the bass. There is just no explanation for her luscious, mature voice, a connection to jazz from the 1940's to 1950's, or for her own songwriting prowess.

Lucio Ferrara Trio

Measured by the company he keeps - gigs and recordings with Lee Konitz, Harold Mabern, and Francisco Mela - this is guitar talent of the highest order. His recent CD is "It's All Right with Me". His style has been described as one in love with melody which makes it accessible to any ear. He is a passionate engaging player: the very solo that turns your head and draws you in, drives him off of his stool. Standing upright, with freedom to roam, physically and musically.
