Jonathan David Sloate Releases New Single 'If You Believe'

Composer, lyricist and playwright Jonathan David Sloate releases new single entitled "If You Believe" featuring stellar performances from Broadway's Rodney Hicks (Come From Away, The Scottsboro Boys, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rent) and Max von Essen (Anastasia, An American in Paris, Evita, Les Miserables) along with the 59-piece Prague Symphony Orchestra. "If You Believe" is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora, CDBaby, and all other major digital platforms worldwide.

"'If You Believe' is about the indefatigable theme of love. This song explores the elusive and mysterious anima that is conjured when a magnetizing and transformative connection takes hold between two people and the courage required to embrace true love. Rodney and Max give powerful and tender performances. It's something special too when you have such a large traditional orchestra to support them, a precious rarity and theatrical treasure for Broadway audiences," ponders Sloate.

This song follows Jonathan David Sloate's (music, lyrics, book) previously released concept albums for two of his original musicals, The New Picasso and The Tower of Babel.

This 2-disc set features a seasoned Broadway cast led by Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Robert Cuccioli (Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, Jekyll & Hyde, Les Miserables), Max von Essen (Anastasia, An American in Paris, Evita, Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar), Brooke Sunny Moriber (The Threepenny Opera, Follies, The Wild Party, Les Miserables), Tony Award nominee Christiane Noll (Chaplin, Ragtime, Jekyll & Hyde), Rodney Hicks (Come From Away, The Scottsboro Boys, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rent), William Parry (Groundhog Day, Sunday in the Park with George, Jesus Christ Superstar), Joseph Dellger (Scandalous, The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, Ragtime), Tony Freeman (The Lion King), Ashley Amber (Evita, The Wedding Singer, Aida), John Jeffrey Martin (Kinky Boots, Hairspray, The Rocky Horror Show), and Elizabeth Earley (Hello, Dolly!, Something Rotten!).

Precedently, Jonathan David Sloate hit #1 on the ReverbNation Classical Charts, ReverbNation.com has over 3 million music artists. The New Picasso and The Tower of Babel have received 68 Awards at worldwide festivals and writing competitions. Black Forest Productions released THE TOWER OF BABEL: THE MUSICAL (Original Sketches) [Broadway Concept Album Recording] and THE NEW PICASSO: THE MUSICAL (Act One/Act Two) [Original Concept Cast Recording] on all major digital platforms worldwide.
