JoAnna Michelle's BLAZE THE DANCE FLOOR Fireballs to No. 12 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart

Illuminating the night with a fiery fury, "Blaze the Dance Floor," the latest single from new artist JoAnna Michelle, continues to burn up the charts. For the week of February 15, Billboard is reporting that "Blaze the Dance Floor" moved up four more notches to No. 12 (with a bullet) on the magazine's Dance Club Play chart. DJs are supporting the super-sizzling single from coast-to-coast and around the world. "Blaze the Dance Floor" is the follow-up to JoAnna's previous single, "Too Sophisticated," which reached No. 22 on Billboard last July.

"I am beyond ecstatic about 'Blaze the Dance Floor' doing so well," states a gushing JoAnna Michelle, a teen musician who sings as well as plays guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums. "I'm sending a big shout out to the entire Billboard panel of DJs, the promoters, and new fans supporting the track. Thank you! Nothing has made me happier than seeing people having fun and dancing to my songs. It's electric!"

JoAnna Michelle's powerhouse diva vocals on "Blaze the Dance Floor" are supported by a superb lineup of remix productions, which music industry veteran Jimmy N*E*R*D Robinson has curated for dance floors everywhere. DJs lending their talents to the track include: Chris Cox, DJs Joe Gauthreaux & Jesus Montanez, Deep Influence, DJ Lynnwood, Josh Harris, Kyodee, Marc Stout, Mauro Mozart, Josh Riptide, and Mike Cruz. The original version of "Blaze the Dance Floor" was written by Marty Bowie and Kim Bowie with production from Josh Harris.

Still in high school and already a seasoned performer, JoAnna Michelle's career is firing on all cylinders. JoAnna, presently performing with the celebrated School of Rock in Wichita, KS, is proving that age and location doesn't matter when it comes to striking it big in the music business. The Wichita starlet is working with passionate drive on several new projects being planned to follow "Blaze the Dance Floor." Next up, is the new single titled, "Forget About Yesterday," which will be immediately followed by a song that paints a picture of what love is all about, titled "She's Suspect." "She's Suspect" features JoAnna's delicious melodies sung around her freestyle rapping-a first for the teen diva. Fans should also look out for a new music video recently shot in stunning Puerto Vallarta for JoAnna's new track, "Forget About Yesterday."

In addition to all of the studio and video work she's been doing, a new collaboration is being kept on hush, until its big reveal. JoAnna is currently working on a brand new song with a world-renowned celebrity artist in Los Angeles, CA. There will be much more to come on this new alliance and single soon. So, stay tuned!

"The new music I'm working on is definitely more urban, funky, and chic," declares JoAnna Michelle. "We're working with multiple genres, infusing sounds never heard before and crafting deft beats for a unique brand in dance music. I'm constantly writing new songs and coming up with new ideas with my collaborators. I love it and can't wait to share all of this creativity."
