As promised, Atlantic recording artist Jason Mraz has announced new U.S. dates on his upcoming international tour a unique itinerary that will see the multi-GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter performing in an array of intimate venues around the world. The dates celebrate Mraz's new album, "YES!," which arrives everywhere on July 15th.
The "YES!" tour which finds Mraz teaming up with his longtime friends and "YES!" collaborators, Raining Jane gets underway this August with a series of intimate North American shows and surprise multi-show runs in select cities.
Following the now sold-out show on August 21 in his adopted hometown of San Diego, Mraz will perform an additional local show before making his way along the West Coast and to Texas. In addition to the newly announced tour dates, on Friday, USA Today premiered Mraz's short film, "We Can Take The Long Way": http://usat.ly/1w5Eglk. Directed by Jeff Nicholas and Jonathan Craven and produced by The Uprising Creative (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna), the film includes three songs from "YES!": "Love Someone," "Hello, You Beautiful Thing," and "Long Drive." On Saturday, VH1 held the broadcast premiere for the video for "Love Someone." The full film and the "Love Someone" stand-alone video are now streaming via Mraz's YouTube Channel, https://www.youtube.com/jasonmraz.
In addition, throughout the coming weeks, Mraz is encouraging fans to tag their quintessential summer photos via Instagram with #SummerOfYES. Favorite photos will be featured weekly on his social properties, and all submissions will be eligible to win a variety of prizes, including tickets to his upcoming "YES!" tour.
