Take a sentimental journey and swing with the 20-piece Hershey Symphony Big Band as it honors the Greatest Generation on June 22, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Hershey Theatre.

In recognition of the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the popular Big Band will perform some of the great songs from the era including favorites by Glenn Miller, The Andrews Sisters, the Gershwins and others. The event will also feature touching and exciting short anecdotes from area WWII veterans and showcase period memorabilia in the theatre lobby, WWII reenactors and more.

The concert is under the direction of Paul Metzger and is sponsored in part by Merrill Lynch and WHP580. Tickets are $20 and $15 (processing fees apply) and are available at the Hershey Theatre Box Office by calling 717.534.3405.
