Nashville's Zac Farro (aka HALFNOISE) is stoked to release his brand new video for "Someday," a shimmering track off of this year's The Velvet Face EP. In true HALFNOISE fashion, the video was shot entirely on a vintage camcorder, with all analog effects being provided by Zac's friend and video collaborator Mike Kluge. The video (which you can watch HERE) premiered yesterday on What Youth - who describes the band's vibe as being "as bright and uplifting as it gets without dipping into a sudden bout of lithium induced euphoria." HALFNOISE is also celebrating the vinyl release of The Velvet Face EP, which was released last week on 10" vinyl via Congrats!

This is definitely the most important piece of music, to me personally, that I've ever written or worked on to-date with HALFNOISE. Not only was it special for me as an artist and writer but from my friends who played, collaborated, and shared with me in making something so special. - Zac

This has been a banner year for Zac as HALFNOISE; he released his Sudden Feeling LP in the fall, toured the US and UK through the winter, and put out The Velvet Face EP in the spring - all while directing music videos, developing his love for film photography, and rejoining his friends in Paramore for a new album and world tour. Over the past 12 months, he has truly cemented himself as a prolific and well-rounded artist. Stereogum proclaimed that HALFNOISE is "a testament to Farro's versatility and growth as a vocalist and writer," and The Fader applauded his ability to weave "surf-rock's friendly intimacy with the broad, borderless horizons of psychedelia," while Paper Magazine describes the band's sound as "Tame Impala meets Papooz meets the electro-elevator-disco you've forever been searching for." Zac has also recently teamed up with Vienna-based analog camera company Lomography for a new series of photo features, along with a signed vinyl and camera giveaway, which you check out HERE!

The Velvet Face EP is available digitally via all DSPs, and can be purchased today on 10" vinyl via Congrats! HALFNOISE's new video for "Someday" can be seen HERE, and you can find the YouTube embed code below. For all up-to-date information on HALFNOISE be sure to stay tuned to www.halfnoisemusic.com!
