Freddy Kruger-Inspired 'mc chris is dreaming' Full Album Streaming in Advance

Los Angeles-based rapper, animator, gamer and Nerdcore pioneer mc chris has teamed up with Consequence of Sound to stream his latest LP, mc chris is dreaming, in its entirety, inspired by everyone's favorite killer from Elm Street, Freddy Krueger. While the album will be available for purchase via all DSPs tomorrow, fans can also look forward to an expansive US tour supporting the album this fall.

In mc chris is dreaming, to be released this Friday, the rapper hilariously uses The Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Krueger and other pop culture symbols to discuss some of his real-life stresses. The album also contains a story line about mc chris battling with the master of night terrors himself, Freddy Kruger (voice overs done by mc chris and fellow actor John Gemberling). Covering territory from uptempo disco to horror trap beats, mc chris is dreaming is an album that is both humorous and deeply personal. It is this combination which separates this album from any of mc chris's previous work.
