Grammy Award-winning rising music star Frank Ocean has at last discussed some preliminary details about the inspirations informing his new currently in-production follow-up to last year's mega-successful album, CHANNEL ORANGE.

In discussing his preparation for recording CHANNEL ORANGE versus the new album: "Well, you know, when I was making the first thing, there were a group of artists that I listened to, just for inspiration and just to, like, absorb the energies or whatever," Ocean said. "It was a lot of Stevie Wonder."

The new venture purports to be something else entirely.

"This time it's a lot of Beach Boys and Beatles and whatnot, so we'll see how it trickles into the music and the final product," he says.

"I can't say much other than that," Ocean confides.

Additionally, Ocean reveals that he is working on "a couple" other projects, as well. Who knows, perhaps his impossibly unique narrative poetry style that is implicit in so many of his best songs could find its way to the stage or screen someday?

Furthermore, are you prepared for a whole new sound on Frank Ocean's new album or would you like him to stick to something similar to the R&B vibe of CHANNEL ORANGE?
