Franc D'Ambrosio Brings BROADWAY to George's in San Rafael, 6/1
Franc D'Ambrosio is best known as the "Phantom" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award winning Musical, "The Phantom Of The Opera." Affectionately known as "The Iron Man of The Mask" Franc was awarded the distinction as the "World's Longest Running Phantom". He brought over 5 million audience members to their feet for over six years in this quintessential role. Now he comes to George's in San Rafael with a one-night performance of BROADWAY, June 1, 2012 at 8:30 p.m.
D'Ambrosio's resume also includes an Academy Award Nominated film ("The Godfather III"), three Emmy award nominated television shows, two Grammy considerations (Best Male Vocalist 1999 for "Panis Angelicus" & Traditional Pop Vocal Album 2005 for "Franc D'Ambrosio's Broadway"), and a National Theatre Award nomination for his stage work (Barry Manilow's "Copacabana").
His successful solo career includes a 5-year, 200 city, sold-out national tour for his one man shows, "Franc D'Ambrosio's BROADWAY" & "Franc D'Ambrosio's HOLLYWOOD".

George's Nightclub opened on October 2nd, 2010 following a seven year absence from the Marin County and Bay Area nightclub scene. The opening night sold-out show has been followed by numerous other sold-out nights attended by audiences excited to attend shows at the brand new nightclub. The 5,200 square-foot venue has a plush 1940s supper club vibe accentuated by a piano-shaped stage, cabaret seating, luxurious VIP leather banquettes near the back bar, blue neon lighted George's signs on exposed raw red brick walls and an art deco marquee. George's is the 2011 Pacific Sun's Best of Marin win for Best Place for Dancing.
