Fox Concerts presents the Earth, Wind & Fire 40th Anniversary World Tour 2011 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Saturday, June 18th at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and are $57.50, $47.50 & $37.50.

With more than 90 million albums sold worldwide, Earth, Wind and Fire is quite possibly one of the most recognizable bands with some of the most enduring songs on the planet.

Over its 40 year history the band has 10 Grammy Awards to their name, four American Music Awards and has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.

The Signature Sound of Earth, Wind & Fire is not easily categorized and since the group's inception they have been profoundly influentially. Music recording artists ranging from Prince to Usher to Beyoncé have credited Earth, Wind & Fire as an inspiration and influence. The iconic band's live concerts are led by founding members, Philip Bailey, Verdine White and Ralph Johnson.

Virtually no party with dancing and fun is complete without an Earth, Wind and Fire song being played at least once. Throughout the 1970s, the band churned out hits inspired by funk, jazz, African, soul, pop and rock music. Their first number one hit in the United States was "Shining Star" in 1975. More chart toppers such as "Got to Get You Into My Life," "Boogie Wonderland" and "Let's Groove" followed. The band has enjoyed a heavy touring schedule since the 1980s, playing to sold out audiences around the world. Earlier this year, EWF performed at an exclusive governor's dinner at the White House, hosted by President Barak Obama and First Lady, Michelle Obama.
