Rockers, Emery, come to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip tonight, July 21 with special guests My Children My Bride, and To Speak of Wolves.

Hailing from South Carolina, the ever-revolving rock band Emery have been making music together since 2000. Emery made their full-length debut in 2004 with “The Weak’s End” on Tooth and Nail Records. The bands sophomore release “The Question” quickly followed in ’05. The band continued building momentum with their 2007 release “I’m Only A Man” and “When Broken Hearts Prevail” EP which was released in 2008. The EP release led to the group’s monumental 2009 effort “In Shallow Seas We Sail.” Their fourth full-length album picked up right where Emery’s last EP release left off, both thematically and stylistically, which fans and critics still savor to this day.

After the release of “In Shallow Seas We Sail” Emery toured extensively, embarking upon at least three national tours per year. This band never stops making music and in 2010 they released “Are You Listening” followed by their most recent release, “We Do What We Want.” While lyrically it is their most personal and spiritual album it is also their heaviest album. The album is full of singing, pretty melodies and choruses that lend to banging your head. “We Do What We Want” captures all of the elements of Emery, from fragile and beautiful to epic and sonically thundering.

Doors open at 5 p.m. at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip, located at 3771 Las Vegas Blvd S. Las Vegas, Nev. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 the day of the show. Tickets are available at the Hard Rock Cafe Box office or online at ticketweb.com.
