Elvis Costello and the Imposters today announce the first Spectacular Spinning Songbook dates of 2012 with shows in the Southeast US this April. Stay tuned for more Spinning Songbook dates coming soon.

The tour hit more than 30 cities in 2011, garnering acclaim at every turn - from the "fun and irreverence" incited in Indianapolis, to the "hilarity, musicality, and unabated joy" in St. Louis, and on to the "frantic energy" that filled the house in Nashville.

At each performance, select fans are invited onstage to spin the Wheel, helping to create new sets at each performance from a collection of 40 banners including hits, rarities, and a few surprises. This tour marks the Wheel's first appearance in 25 years and includes an on-stage go-go cage and "Society Lounge" in addition to the monumental game-show wheel. The Imposters are: Steve Nieve (keyboards), Pete Thomas (drums), and Davey Faragher (bass). www.elviscostello.com www.shorefire.com/clients/ecostello
