Riding a massive wave of buzz in his home country, London-based producer DUKE DUMONT has teamed with the newly launched Win Records and leading independent U.S. record label Downtown Records for the North American release of his hit single "Need U (100%)" featuring A*M*E and MNEK. Topping the official U.K. singles Top 100 Chart at #1 for two weeks with over 270,000 copies sold in the U.K. to date, "Need U (100%)" has received global support and critical acclaim from the likes of Spin, NME, Paper, BBC Radio 1 and The Independent-who called the track "one of the most anticipated dance tracks of the year so far"-and has catapulted DUKE DUMONT to the highest echelon of the electronic music realm.

The North American release of "Need U (100%)" marks the launch of a multi-dimensional joint venture between two of the foremost indie labels in the U.S.: Win Records and Downtown Records with distribution by Sony RED. With "Need U (100%)," DUKE DUMONT has established himself as one of the premier producers in the underground house/electronic movement of 2013. Featuring transcending vocals from 19-year-old starlet A*M*E, who is fresh from being tipped in the BBC's Sound of 2013 poll, "Need U (100%)" features classic vocal house vibes and mature songwriting magnetism with a modern twist packed with international crossover appeal. With a chunky low-end, funky stabs and silky vocals, the track is like an early 90's house classic couched in 2013 techno techniques.

Co-written by teenage wunderkind MNEK, who recently sung on Rudimental's "Spoons" with Syron, "Need U (100%)" was originally released on DUKE DUMONT's own independent imprint Blasé Boys Club in association with Ministry of Sound.

"Duke Dumont's 'Need U 100%' is the first of what I feel audiences have been looking for these last few years," says Sean Glass, founder of Win Records. 'EDM' exploded, now deep house is doing its thing, but what will really cross this music over are songs. 'Need U 100%' takes actual verse-chorus-verse structure, including a killer hook, and applies all the best sounds of deep house and garage right now. Throw in some classic disco flair and Duke Dumont is right alongside Daft Punk in the best dance producers out there right now."

DUKE DUMONT is launching a North American DJ tour this week, where he will showcase "Need U (100%)" as well as his numerous house anthems and remixes. The trek will take him across various clubs and venues including a featured performance at the Together Festival in Boston prior to returning in early August for his debut performance at the celebrated Hard Summer in Los Angeles.

The release of the track follows a groundbreaking year for DUKE DUMONT, which includes the two-part EP series For Club Play Only released in 2012 by Turbo Recordings. Featured on For Club Play Only Pt. 2 was "The Giver," a colossal track that immediately became a global house anthem and one of the biggest house tracks of 2012. DUKE DUMONT also recently released a remix for buzz act Haim and has also contributed official remixes for AlunaGeorge, Santigold, Bats For Lashes, Lily Allen, Canyons and many more. In 2013, tastemaker BBC Radio 1 radio/DJ personality Annie Mac featured DUKE DUMONT in the Essential Mix Future Stars series, an exclusive selection of future leaders in the electronic music space. Mentored by producer Switch (last sighted producing for Beyoncé) early in his career, DUKE DUMONT made his name as the "go-to" man to remake a pop song for the dance floor (Lily Allen and Bat For Lashes were notable clients). In 2011, he moved out of London to the countryside (Hertfordshire, where his studio overlooks a forest) to focus on his original material. Synthesizing his influences from techno to U.K. garage and house, he brought back goodies from this Zen-like exile. In 2012, DUKE released two EPs on Tiga's label Turbo Recordings, which featured the tracks "Street Walker," "Thunderclap" and "The Giver." These EPs alerted the heads to the DUKE movement and received support from the likes of Jamie Jones and Simian Mobile Disco. Remixes for AlunaGeorge, Haim and Santigold quickly followed, which has made DUKE the man to watch. "The producer's producer" has become the "people's producer."
