Diane Coffee Shares LIKE A CHILD DOES Video, New Album Out 4/19 on Polyvinyl

Diane Coffee, the pop project of Shaun Fleming, released his new single "Like A Child Does" last week, and today he shares a new video, a playful and wildly inventive riff on the song's lyrics. V Magazine premiered the clip and also interviewed Fleming about his forthcoming new album Internet Arms. "There is sort of a sub-plot to this record where the world has been taken over by AI," he says. "Classic terminator vibes, it's like what a Diane Coffee record would sound like if I was creating it in a digital landscape."

Internet Arms is out April 19 on Polyvinyl and also includes the previously released single "Not Ready To Go." The album is available for pre-order in physical and digital format.

Diane Coffee was also recently profiled by Aquarium Drunkard, discussing Internet Arms' concept of society's tangled relationship with technology. "This album isn't saying 'technology is a bad thing,' that's not what it's about," says Fleming. "It's asking these questions. I'm trying to ask the question, how do we integrate this into our lives and make something sustainable? Cause right now, our human interaction is cut down to almost nothing."
