About Sweet Relief Musicians Fund

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund is a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. Since 1994, Sweet Relief has given grants to musicians, singers, composers and arrangers of all music genres throughout the U.S. and Canada. During her tour with Neil Young, singer-songwriter Victoria Williams was suddenly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and to help pay for her exponentially growing medical expenses, a community of friends produced an album of her work. The proceeds of the CD helped diminish her medical bills and in turn, she started the nonprofit organization to help other musicians going through similar situations. Sweet Relief throws events and benefits all over the Orange County, Los Angeles areas and beyond. For more information, visit www.sweetrelief.org.
