A fascinating collection of cut material from many of this season's new Broadway musicals is now available to peruse via an audio now available of a recent New York Public Library discussion series event, titled CUT.

CUT presents discussions and demonstrations of musical material penned for the respective 2013-2014 new musical entries that did not make it into the final scores of the shows with IF/THEN composer Tom Kitt, ROCKY composer/lyricist Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty and THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY composer/lyricist Jason Robert Brown.

The official description of CUT is as follows: "An evening of songs that have been cut from this season's new Broadway musicals, including songs from The Bridges of Madison County, If/Then, and Rocky featuring performance and commentary by songwriters Jason Robert Brown, Tom Kitt, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty."
