A toast was made in Las Vegas at the stroke of midnight Sunday night to celebrate award-winning singer/songwriter Lee Brice's new #1 single, "I Drive Your Truck". The poignant ballad joins his previous 2 number one songs as singles that also happened to peak the same week as major country award shows. "A Woman Like You" went #1 the week of the 2012 ACM Awards.

The follow up single "Hard To Love" hit the top spot later that year during the week of the CMA Awards, and following suit, "I Drive Your Truck" reached the pinnacle during ACM Awards week this year. Curb Records is gearing up for the 4th single, "Parking Lot Party", off the current album.

Although a prolific songwriter himself, Brice did not write "I Drive Your Truck"; however, he knew he had to cut it as soon as he heard it. "Every now and then I hear a song that just blows me away," he said. "And that song just put me on the floor the first time I heard it". Brice's powerfully raw and emotional offering is the fastest moving single of his career and is his 3rd #1 single in a row from his latest album, Hard 2 Love, which includes several songs co-written and co-produced by label mate, Jon Stone of new duo American Young, which also includes Kristy Osmunson.

Jon and Kristy joined hosts Dallas Davidson and Don Schlitz and gave the crowd a taste of their new music at the ACM Songwriters Show. Before attending the awards, the duo walked the red carpet where Jon spoke about his Song of the Year nomination for Brice's "A Woman Like You" and they both fielded questions about their highly anticipated new album, which will be co-produced by Lee Brice and Justin Neibank. The duo, who have a list of songwriting and producer credits among them, will release their debut single "Love Is War" to radio this summer.

About Lee Brice:
South Carolina native, Lee Brice's "I Drive Your Truck" is his third consecutive number one single off his sophomore album, HARD 2 LOVE on Curb Records. It follows the platinum certified single "Hard To Love". Its lead single "A Woman Like You" set the pace, earning platinum certification and chart-topping status. Brice's previous studio album LOVE LIKE CRAZY's title track spawned Billboard's most played country song of 2010 and it still holds the record for the longest-charting song in the history of Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. Billboard again recognized Brice as a songwriter for the most played country song of 2011, "Crazy Girl," which also earned him a 2012 ACM Award for "Song Of The Year." Brice's name can be found in the writing credits for additional hits recorded by country stars including Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton and more. Garth Brooks' "More Than A Memory," which Brice co-wrote, became the first song on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart to debut at number one.

About American Young:
The name conjures up something big, something that stands for something. No doubt, it's creators - songsmiths, producers and entertainers, Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson declare it this way. It's more than a name. It's a movement. Jon and Kristy both exude an unparalleled passion for music and more importantly it's meaning. They are seasoned veterans on how music can inherently affect emotion and even culture. The collaborative fresh new duo already claim songwriting credits for hit makers Kenny Chesney, Lee Brice, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and more. Recording and writing comes from a deep, poignant place with a desire to affect global audiences with songs featuring tight harmonies and storytelling. "American Young represents a sound with no boundaries. We are squarely focused on delivering our own brand of music and hope that folks will find ours songs everything from haunting to dramatic and intense to fresh", says Jon. American Young's genre bending music is set to launch its debut single in 2013.
