Christmas With The King's Singers Set for Holland Center Tonight

Omaha Performing Arts presents Christmas With The King's Singers in the Kiewit Hall at the Holland Performing Arts Center tonight, December 3, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $25 and are available at, 402.345.0606 or at the Ticket Omaha Office inside the Holland Center, 1200 Douglas St.

Prior to the evening performance, The King's Singers will lead a Master Class at the Holland Center with three area choral groups: Gretna High School Concert Choir, Creighton University Chamber Choir and Madrigali et al. At least 10 area high school choirs will observe the Master Class and take part in the Q&A session that follows. About 350 participants are expected.

Grammy Award-winning The King's Singers are David Hurley, countertenor; Timothy Wayne-Wright, countertenor; Julian Gregory, tenor; Christopher Bruerton, baritone; Christopher Gabbitas, baritone; and Jonathan Howard, bass. Founded in 1968, The King's Singers are considered one of the best vocal ensembles, appealing to a vast international audience. The group performs over 120 concerts each year, touring regularly to Europe, the United States, Asia and Australasia. They're known for their delightfully British sense of humor.
