Songwriter Carly Jamison has announced the release of her third Christmas single this year - "I'm Getting A Ukulele For Christmas". Written in the traditional of all great Christmas novelty records, it's a fun genre-defying song that celebrates the joys and excitement associated with receiving exactly what you've been wanting for Christmas.

"The song is 100% autobiographical", says Jamison. "I was literally driving home with the ukulele that I was getting for Christmas in the back of my car when I first started hearing it in my head. By the time I got home, the first and second verses were pretty much written."

Producer Tres Sasser says the sound is "a mix of sidewalk buskers, winter time magic, street performers and dixieland jazz with a few Hawaiian elements to respect the history of the instrument".
