Brittany Campbell Springs Into Full Bloom With New Video For MY GARDEN

Multimedia artist Brittany Campbellhas given her song "My Garden", which debuted in April, new life with the release of the music video, a delicate and beautiful ode to flourishing on your own despite love's dependency on another.

Beginning with the fuzzy voicemail of a man criticizing his lover's independence coming between them, Campbell is in the background, surrounded by flowers and remaining unbothered. The dreamy combination of instruments compliments Campbell's voice, as she begins, "I never needed anyone."

Establishing her own autonomy, Campbell admits this time is different, "'Til you invaded all my dreams / and everything felt like a song." In the idyllic world of being in love, Campbell has allowed herself to let another into her garden. A place so sacred and personal that she refuses to take this permeation lightly. As she comes to terms with another coming into herself and leaving again, she grapples with her own fears of maintaining her own self-sufficiency as she becomes reliant on another and more vulnerable in the process.

Decorated in flowy, floral dresses and decadent jewelry, the video is a testament to Campbell's artistry in the way she visually represents her music. An ethereal image of being in bloom, Campbell has captured spring as a time of growth and experience. Dancing and laughing, she embraces every emotion of falling in love.
As delicate as a flower, Campbell is also as strong as her garden.
