Stanley Clarke and Larry Coryell will bring their own trios for a double feature from March 20 - 25.

Clarke, who won a Grammy award this year for Best Contemporary Jazz Album, will bring drummer Lenny White and the young pianist Beka Gochiashvili from Tbilisi, Georgia, who will have just turned 16 when the run begins. In 2009, Gochiashvili took first place at the Bosendorfer Jazz Piano Competition in Montreux, Switzerland, and has been studying at the pre-college division of the Juilliard school since then. Playing opposite Clarke's trio, jazz-rock pioneer Larry Coryell will feature his pianist John Colianni and 15 year-old bassist Daryl Johns. Born in the Bronx, Johns is currently a sophomore at Dwight-Englewood School in NJ and was a semi-finalist in the 2009 Thelonious Monk International Competition featuring top bassists from around the world. He was recently filmed playing and talking with Chick Corea for a segment in a documentary celebrating Chick's 70th Birthday run at the Blue Note in November.
