Los Angeles-based songwriter Ben Caron is releasing another EP on his way to a fully fan-funded debut album. Love Me Too, which will be released on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, is the third installment of new music from the artist. Caron has been recording his album in three-song segments, which have all been paid for through donations from his growing sphere of fans through a blog he set up for just this purpose. He has been building his fan base and testing the songs at performances across Southern California. In Los Angeles, he is a regular performer and producer at Rockwell: Table and Stage, where he held residence in May as well as performing sold-out shows at Bar Lubitsch and M Bar.

Caron is known for presenting a youthful, intimate and sometimes raw, but always relatable take on love and relationships through his songs. On Love Me Too, Caron is stepping away from the light and playful songs found on his previous EPs and shows a bolder, nostalgic, and in the case of the title track, “Love Me Too,” painful truth of the same subject matter. The other tracks on the new EP, “Everything We Could Be” and “This Way Again,” while lighter in tone, are still more reflective than the work on the previous two EPs.

Love Me Too is the last EP to be released by Caron before all twelve tracks are remixed and remastered for his debut album, which is slated for a February 2013 release. Donations toward the recording of his album can be made at www.bencaron.info.
