Brooklyn quartet Bear Hands are playing The Riot Room tonight, July 9 in support of their new album Distraction.

"Giants," their first single off Distraction, is climbing the Alternative radio charts, and they recently released the Mark Pellington-directed video for it. Watch it below!

Bear Hands' sophomore album Distraction finds the band stretching out from their charmingly scrappy indie-rock beginnings of their debut into full-blown technicolor, following three years of work on the record coupled with heavy touring with the likes of Passion Pit, MGMT, GZA and more. The hard work resulted in a self-assuredness immediately evident on the simultaneously whiplash-inducing and silkily-grooving lead single "Giants." Hook-filled from top to bottom, but dynamic and filled with curveballs, Distraction is an invitingly idiosyncratic gem.
