Fresh from his debut showcases at SXSW and 2017 US tour support for sold out Tash Sultana, Australian Singer Songwriter Josh Cashman has released his latest single Listening on March 24th via One Love. The track is taken from his forthcoming yet-to-be-titled EP. This is the follow up to last year's full-length LP Wishful Imagery - peaking #6 overall on Triple J Unearthed Charts. Locking himself away in the studio with Jan Skubiszewski (John Butler Trio, The Cat Empire, ILLY), Listening evokes a newfound sense of confidence and maturity - a mix of both organic and electronic instrumentation that broadening Cashman's overall soundscape, delivering a truly beautiful song which showcases a song writing talent mature beyond his 21 years.

A gifted, self-taught musician with a fiercely loyal fan base, Josh Cashman has sold-out revered Melbourne venues, The Worker's Club and Penny Black, as well as a residency at Ding Dong Lounge. Recently Josh did 6 showcases at SXSW and the best by far was BD Riley's on Sat 18th March whic was at capacity. The show was for Sounds Australia and the audience had foreigners and locals alike who were singing along. Josh's official showcase at CU29 Bar on the same evening was also packed, and the crowd kept asking for more songs once he was done. It's a good that there are a lot more songs to come from Josh Cashman.
