Atlanta-Based Recording Artist JV Carter Shares Latest Single 'Right Hand Up'

JV Carter is an up and coming artist that is not new to the music industry. JV was born in Providence, Rhode Island, but raised on the south side of Atlanta, Georgia. He brings a fresh new sound to the new and older generation with his unique soft sound and trap style of music. He captures his audience's attention with real life issues through his music and laid back demeanor, reclaiming it as "Real N***a Blues".

Recently, JV Carter released his latest single through Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes titled "Shine", which is currently available to stream and download.

His passion for music was found in 2001, when he joined the Group "ERATIC", which consisted of four members, all who resided in the Boston, Massachusetts area. JV began commuting weekly to Boston, making him a valued member of the group, managed by "on the rise management" of Massachusetts. During his term with ERATIC, they were the opening act for the scream tour in 2002, head lining for B2K, I M X, and others. They also worked underground with R& B singer Mario during their term. JV moved on after the group and went solo to continue his career in music. Since becoming a solo artist, JV has performed locally and nationally. He has performed throughout the Atlanta area including the Sweet Auburn Spring Festival, which landed him the opportunity to perform on BET 106 and Parks, winning first place in 2008.

JV is diligence in his work, writing and creating his own sound. His most recent work was written and produce with "Cyrus Deshield", writer for Interscope Records. The new hit single "Right Hand Up", has been turning heads over the last 30 days, and is currently available to stream on music apps such as Coast 2 Coast radio, CDBaby, Spotify, Tidal, etc. JV most recent performance was with Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes in their competitions held in Atlanta, where he won first place, as a result he received an invitation to perform in Miami, Florida for their grand prize competition.
