Art by Chad Buffington & Robert Vaux and Rising Young Singer Cosette Gobat Set for Ware Center's 'First Today', Today

On Friday, July 4th from 6 PM to 8 PM, the Ware Center will be hosting artwork by Chad Buffington, collages by Robert Vaux Roop, and music by Cosette Gobat. All FREE.

Chad Buffington will display portraits, regional landscapes, barns, and abstract paintings at his exhibition on First Friday. A self-taught, but very successful artist, Buffington uses multiple media including watercolor, oil, and pencil.

Robert Vaux Roop will also be displaying his collages during First Friday. He is heavily involved in the arts of Lancaster: Robert founded the Lancaster Summer Arts Festival , was a member of the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts, a board member of Goethean Art Gallery and the Fine Arts League of Lancaster; and in 1963, was President of Lancaster County Art Association. Still working to this day, Robert has been creating art for over seven decades.

Cosette Gobat, singer-songwriter, will be performing her country- indie tunes during the First Friday event in Lyet Lobby.

First Friday events will be held throughout the Ware Center, 42 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA. All events are FREE.
