Ars Nova Announces January Programming

Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jeremy Blocker, Managing Director) announces a jam-packed January lineup featuring exciting new comedy, music and theater programming.
Coming up in January:
Futurity: A Musical by the Lisps in Concert (Tuesday, January 10 @ 8pm; $10 advanced, $15 door)
Beloved Brooklyn indie darlings The Lisps return to Ars Nova with songs from their Civil War musical, Futurity. Catch this sneak preview concert before the group performs the show in a run at A.R.T. in Boston this Spring!
Clown Baggage (Wednesday, January 11 @ 8pm; $15)
Matt Wilson wanted to be a doctor. He also wanted to be a clown. He went with the latter, but now he’s got baggage. Clown Baggage. Worlds collide in this spectacular implosion of clown, medicine and sideshow theatrics.

NYC's rowdiest variety show kicks off 2012 with a jam-packed roster of music, comedy, circus and theater artists. Confirmed acts include: Jermaine Fowler, Jonny Porkpie, Summer & Eve, Shaina Taub, Chris Ruggiero and Airin De Skies.
Isaac Oliver: Intimacy Idiot (Friday, January 13 @ 8pm; sold out)
Gay playwright and pale neurotic Isaac Oliver hits the stage solo in a hilarious and heartfelt evening of stories, love poems, and rants from his blog, He Who Laughs, or The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Intimacy.
