All Visitors Welcome as Neil Young Streams Worldwide This December

CTV and Facebook in partnership with Shakey Pictures are pleased to present Canadian Music legend Neil Young as he comes home to spin some musical magic on Friday, Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. ET, live streaming in Canada on CTV.ca and around the world on Facebook. Neil Young's performance will come from a Canadian hometown stage directly to you.

December 1st also celebrates the launch of NYA The Neil Young Archives. NYA is a comprehensive chronological collection of Neil Young's entire recorded music, films, videos and books, audio streaming in Master Quality via Young's 'Xstream by NYA'.

December 1 marks the release of 'The Visitor' a new Reprise Records studio album by Neil Young featuring ten new songs, all written and recorded during the last tumultuous year and backed by his friends, the band 'Promise of the Real'.

Recorded at Woolly Mammoth Sound, “Autumn Letter” was the first song the group tackled fresh out of pandemic quarantine.“It reminds me of a certain kind of classic Buffalo Tom song from our Let Me Come Over era,” says Bill Janovitz. “It’s big, open chords are strummed way up high on the capo’d guitar neck, with a little Van Morrison Celtic melodic tinge.'

Abby Hamilton Confirms Summer Headline Shows

Emerging singer, songwriter and musician Abby Hamilton will perform select headline shows this summer including newly confirmed stops at Greensboro’s Flat Iron, Knoxville’s Barley’s Tap Room, Chattanooga’s Cherry Street Tavern, Roanoke’s The Spot on Kirk and Harrisonburg’s Golden Pony. Arooj Aftab to Release New Album; Single Available Now

Arooj Aftab is set to release Night Reign, the follow up to her critically acclaimed album Vulture Prince, on May 31, 2024. Ahead of the release, she shares “Raat Ki Rani,” the album’s debut single and a music video helmed by actress Tessa Thompson (in her directorial debut) and produced by Kishori Rajan, who heads Thompson’s production company Viva Maude.
