Alex Clare's 'Too Close' Gets Certified Platinum in the US

Alex Clare rose to prominence as the soundtrack for Microsoft's blockbuster Internet Explorer 9 Ad, "A More Beautiful Web," directed by Keith Rivers. The Internet Explorer team has focused on celebrating the artists that bring the web to life, that bring – beauty to the web. The power of Alex Clare's "Too Close" provided the perfect companion to that story.
Merging electronic music and pop like never before, "Too Close" is a landmark for ALEX CLARE and an indication of even bigger things to come. Clare commented on his newfound stateside success -- "I'm just so floored by the success of the song in the U.S., and I can't wait to tour the country."
