Jazzy pop crooner, actress and activist Cynthia Basinet best known for her iconic sultry version of, "Santa Baby" attended the Jazz Tribute Awards and Concert Saturday night honoring Seth MacFarland and the legendary, Johnny Mandel.

Leonard Martin presented Seth MacFarland with the 2017 David L. Abell Angel Award for his focus on music, literature and philanthropy.

Quincy Jones presented his "brother from another mother", Johnny Mandel with the Jazz Tribute Celebrating A Life Of Achievement.

The concert swung under the musical direction of John Clayton with performances by Calabria Foti, Chuck Berghofer, Tony White and the LA Jazz Society All Star Big Band.

John Williams also gave his accolades for Seth MacFarland as Alan Bergman charmed the audience with his delicate crooning. The Shelly Manne Memorial New Talent Award was presented to trumpeter, Joey Curreri.

"Keeping Jazz Alive!" special comments by Mrs. Shelly "Flip" Manne, President, Los Angeles Jazz Society. The Los Angeles Jazz Society Tribute Awards are a "celebration of 34 years honoring jazz legends and supporting the mission to honor the legacy of jazz and assure its future by nurturing jazz musicians and audiences of tomorrow".
