2016 Electric Forest Adds More Performers to Lineup; Curated Events Announced

Today, Electric Forest (EF) announced over 25 new additions to the festival lineup, as well as details on its 2016 Curated Event Series. The 6th annual music and camping festival returns to Rothbury, Michigan on June 23-26, 2016 and sold out again in record time - a mere two weeks after tickets went on sale.

New artists added to the lineup include STS9 (Axe the Cables), Futuristic, Getter, Liquid Stranger, Prof, Styles&Complete, The White Buffalo, and many others. These artists join the already announced String Cheese Incident (performing 3 shows), BASSNECTAR, Major Lazer, GRiZ, Porter Robinson (Live), STS9, Fetty Wap, Duke Dumont, Flosstradamus, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Baauer, Gorgon City (Live), Greensky Bluegrass, The Disco Biscuits, Adventure Club, and more. Along with the announcement of additional artists, Electric Forest unveiled 2016 details for the festival's highly anticipated Curated Event Series. Each year Electric Forest collaborates with fellow musical tastemakers from around the globe to take part in curating the lineup and vibe of a distinct stage each night, creating unique musical experiences within the festival itself. For 2016, Electric Forest joins forces with noteworthy partners Anjunadeep, BASSRUSH, Night Bass, Soul Clap and All Good Records to deliver even more musical depth and diversity.

The Silent Disco talent, Discovery Project DJ contest, and full stage schedule with additional artists are still to be announced.

Anjunadeep
Featuring Bonobo (DJ set), Dusky, Lane 8, Moon Boots, Way Out West (LIVE), Cubicolor, Yotto
(Thursday, June 23 on Tripolee)
London-based label imprint Anjunadeep brings its hand-pick selection of deep house sounds to Triploee Stage for this Electric Forest debut. Founded in 2005 by DJ trio Above & Beyond, Anjunadeep has since become one of the world's most respected electronic music imprints.

BASSRUSH
Featuring Adventure Club, Bro Safari, Caspa b2b Rusko, Brillz, NGHTMRE, Metrik b2b TC, EPROM, G Jones, Teddy Killerz, Bleep Bloop, FURY + MC Dino
(Friday, June 24 on Tripolee)
BASSRUSH returns to Electric Forest's Tripolee Stage for the third year in a row to showcase a variety of bass music styles and artists. Since the '90s, Bassrush has evolved from its strictly drum & bass roots to include dubstep and other bass-oriented genres. The goal of Bassrush is to provide a platform to showcase bass music the way it should be experienced: with massive sound and full-scale production.

Night Bass
Featuring AC Slater, Chris Lorenzo, Flava D, Justin Martin, Kry Wolf, Landis LaPace, Low Steppa, Motez, Petey Clicks, Taiki Nulight

Popular Los Angeles event series and record label Night Bass showcase groundbreaking artists at EF's Forest Stage. Chief bass twister since the mid zeroes, hyperactive genre-melting DJ and event promoter AC Slater is the main man behind Night Bass.

Soul Clap's House of EFUNK
Featuring Soul Clap, Egyptian Lover, Mike Dunn, Nick Monaco (LIVE), Scott Grooves, Navid Izadi (LIVE)

Boston, Massachusetts DJ and production duo Soul Clap are known for pushing new boundaries and musically defying time and space. Soul Clap brings its mission to change the world one dance floor at a time to EF2016's Forest Stage.

All Good Records
Featuring The Geek &VRV, Russ Liquid, Muzzy Bearr, Gosh Pith, Shooka, and a very special Super Jam
(Saturday, June 25 on The Observatory)
Founded by GRiZ, Detroit's All Good Records is bringing the whole family out to the Observatory Stage at EF2016. The soulful & creative label curates and develops the spread of thoughtful artistry to the world - from old-school Motown soul, future funk, new disco, cutting edge electronica, and anything else on the forefront of sound.
