Audiences saw Anna and Elsa spending so much time apart in Disney's animated feature, but now fans will finally get the chance to know the girls as sisters.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Random House is publishing a FROZEN chapter-book series that will tell what happened after the storyline in Disney's 2013 box office mega-hit.

ANNA & ELSA #1: ALL HAIL THE QUEEN and ANNA & ELSA #2: MEMORY AND MAGIC will hit the shelves on January 6, 2015, with plans to release three to four new books each year after that.

Erica David, who has worked on young-reader adaptations inspired by How to Train Your Dragon, Legend of Korra and more, will pen the series.

FROZEN tells the story of fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) who sets off on an epic journey-teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven-to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
