Yellow Rose Double Barrel Bourbon (43% ALC / VOL) is a premium bourbon finished in cabernet wine barrels. The whiskey is named for after the legendary shotgun and also the approach of finishing whiskey in a second barrel. Yellow Rose Double Barrel recently won a Silver Medal at the prestigious New York World Wine and Spirits Competition in September.

"We wanted to offer bourbon enthusiasts an alternative to traditional bourbon. The cabernet barrels mellow out the finish while adding hints of chocolate, plum and brown sugar" states master distiller TRoy Smith.

Finishing whiskey in various wine casks is becoming quite popular with producers. Others in the industry have experimented with port or cherry barrels to create a unique touch. With so many whiskeys on the market, products like the Yellow Rose Double Barrel offer a nice alternative to the traditional Kentucky bourbons.

Yellow Rose Distilling is also proud to announce a recent partnership with Republic National Distribution Company (RNDC) for distribution in Texas. Yellow Rose whiskey is also distributed in Arkansas, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Tennessee and Washington D.C.
