PARK AVENUE TAVERN - Cool Summer Whites for Hot Summer Nights Tasting, Monday 7/29

To celebrate the season, Park Avenue Tavern is hosting a "Cool Summer Whites for Hot Summer Nights" tasting event on Monday, July 29. The evening will feature bottomless white wine paired with passed Mediterranean apps, brief wine education from category experts, games, and prizes.

Guests are invited to join us downstairs in the private Barrel Room. The Barrel Room at Park Avenue Tavern features Self-Serve beer taps, and is available by reservation only. The event is a wonderful way to tour the old world interiors and comfortable seating. It will begin at 6:30 p.m and serve bottomless white wine for two hours, ending at 8:30 p.m.

The following list of wines will be available and pair perfectly with the refreshing, earthy Mediterranean style appetizers:

-Terlato Pinot Grigio, also known as "The Father of Pinot Grigio", is a crisp wine grown in the Friuli Colli Orientali region in Northeastern Italy

-Loveblock Sauvignon Blanc, is an Organic Malborough 2018 from New Zealand. It is a Complex and elegant Sauvignon Blanc bouquet, with pineapple, guava and sweet meadow grass aromas.

-Tangley Oaks Chardonnay, is from Mendocino County, California bottled in 2015. It has an aroma of Golden delicious apple, ripe pear and melon with an inviting creamy oak aroma.

-Anselmi San Vincenzo, bottled in 2018, this wine is Medium-bodied and fruit-forward with a clean, dry finish.
