New GIFTED HOLIDAY MARKET Opens in Times Square

GIFTED presented by Urbanspace in partnership with Times Square Alliance, opens in Times Square on Friday, November 24. New to the holiday market scene this year, TSQ MKT offers a festive shopping destination in the heart of New York City. Joining Urbanspace's internationally beloved holiday market family, GIFTED is a gift to New York, from New York. Centrally located at the highly visited 43-44 Street Broadway Pedestrian Plaza, holiday shoppers from near and far will experience a selection of homegrown retailers embodying the creative energy and entrepreneurial spirit of the city.

GIFTED will highlight 16 small businesses born and bred in New York City in a completely transparent tent in the middle of Times Square. Curated by Urbanspace, the GIFTED lineup of booths includes: Ice & Vice, an experimental ice cream shop with new menu items for the holiday season like the Do-nut Dwell Sundae with mulled cider mini donuts, coquito, whipped cream, and toasted coconut, Fineapple New York, playful and colorful apparel, Wovenwell, woven goods where a portion of its profits go to developing mental health initiatives, and Limegreen, all-natural multi-use skincare products, and many more.

Enhancing the festive shopping destination, Urbanspace partnered with the International Culinary Center (ICC) to create a spectacular Gingerbread Scene immersing shoppers and passersby in the vibrant holiday energy of the city. Spanning over 8 feet in length, the Gingerbread Scene celebrates the evolution of Times Square, depicting its cityscape from the days of theater marquees covering all of West 42nd Street to the recurring celebration of New Year's Eve and the TKTS Steps on Duffy Square.

GIFTED will be open from Friday, November 24 through Friday, December 22; 11am - 9pm daily (with hours extending as the holidays draw nearer). For additional information about GIFTED, please visit: https://www.urbanspacenyc.com/tsq-mkt/.

In addition to GIFTED, Urbanspace's year-round culinary market, TSQ MKT, will remain open for the holiday season in the heart of NYC. Customers can enjoy the best cuisine from all five boroughs from over a dozen vendors at TSQ MKT.

Urbanspace continues to offer locals and visitors unique shopping experiences throughout the season with their full lineup of five additional holiday markets, including the popular Union Sqaure Holiday Market, The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park and Columbus Circle Holiday Market (returning Tuesday, November 28), as well as the newly opened Turnstyle Holiday Market and Garment District Holiday Market.
