Centeur Importers to Sponsor Peterborough Players' Summer Music Festival

The Peterborough Players signed a major sponsorship agreement for their new "Summer of Stars" Music Festival tent located next to their theatre. Centeur Importers, based in Keene, New Hampshire is the sole sponsor of the music festival for the 2015 season.

One hour before 3 performances per week (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays), local music artists will perform under the tent for the Peterborough Player's audiences. However, no ticket is required for these music performances, so anyone can stop by, even if they are not attending one of the plays. Music will include classical, blues, jazz, country and folk.

Centeur Imports is the only importer of Slovakian wines in the U.S. They also distribute a wide variety of Italian wines. The Players will sell Centeur's wines at the tent and at their concession area inside the theatre.

"The 'Summer of Stars' music tent will provide our audiences with a magical way to start their night at the Peterborough Players. They can enjoy a glass of wine, listen to some talented musicians under the tent and then enter the theatre and see one of our great summer productions." said Steve Jackson, Director of Marketing of the Peterborough Players.

Centeur Imports' sponsorship will benefit the introduction of their wines into the region and beyond. "We are very proud to be the inaugural sponsor of this new event at the Players. We believe it will provide a great showcase for our award-winning Eastern European and Italian wines. It should be a fun experience for old and new fans of the Players," said Brian Green, owner and founder of Centeur Imports.

Musical artists scheduled to appear at the "Summer of Stars" Music Festival include Andrew Koutroubas, Ted Mann, Bob Pettegrew, Walden Whitham, Jose Lezcano & Brazilian Trio, Bernie & Louise Watson, Marybeth Hallihan and Larry Brown. More artists will be announced over the summer.

The tent provided for the summer promotion was made possible by a donation from its owner, Monadnock Tent and Event of Greenfield, NH.
