Edgewater locals and many more should plan a visit to Mitchell's Fish Market. Located at the Edgewater Commons, this wonderful restaurant also has an enticing beverage program served at their expansive bar and lounge. You won't get a better wrap around view of New York City. It extends from the Freedom Tower all the way to the George Washington Bridge. Gather your group and stop by for a drink after work or take some time to relax in the bar area when you're dining at Mitchell's. We are sure you'll be delighted.

We visited on a Thursday evening to try a few of Mitchell's specialty cocktails. The bar was in full swing with a fantastic live jazz band "Fleur Seule" that plays every Thursday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. And we found the friendly service to be extremely knowledgable and efficient.

Mitchell's has a cocktail menu that will please drink enthusiasts. We enjoyed the "Rye Peach Smash" with Templeton Rye Whiskey, Real Peach Puree, fresh mint leaves, peach and ginger ale. The "Strawberry Mule" is an ideal mix of New Amsterdam Vodka, Fever-Tree Ginger Beer, fresh strawberries, and fresh lime juice. With National Margarita Day coming up on February 22nd, be sure to stop by for their "Millionaire Margarita" with Patron Silver Tequila, Cointreau Orange Liquer, Grand Marnier, fresh lemon sour, and lime juice. For those that prefer, there's a great selection of beer, wine, after dinner drinks and specialty coffees.

Order a small plate or two to go with drinks. Items like their raw bar specialties, Bacon Wrapped BBQ Shrimp, Crispy Calamari, Tuna "Poke," and Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail make for perfect pairings.

Join Mitchell's for Happy Hour on Sunday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm when they have items starting at $5 in the bar and lounge area. And if you're planning to visit on a Wednesday, you can enjoy their delectable Crab Cake for only $5 that is full of the finest lump crabmeat.
