Wolfgang's Steakhouse is well known as a premiere restaurant that pleases gourmet enthusiasts in New York City and beyond. Now, at their new location in Somerville, New Jersey, they offer an extraordinary dining experience to area residents. Garden State guests can feast like Manhattanites and skip the trip. Their signature menu, excellent service, and chic, classic surroundings are getting a lot of buzz from the many people who have already visited since the grand opening in January.

Wofgang's is located on the ground floor of The Edge at Main in Somerville's bustling Town Center and anchors the town's growing restaurant district. Owner Wolfgang Zwiener has brought his same elevated steakhouse classics to his newest location. Zwiener worked for the famous Peter Luger Steakhouse in Brooklyn for over 40 years and took his expertise to open the first Wolfgang's in 2004. The restaurant empire is now celebrating 10 years of success as one of the top steakhouses in the country and abroad with eleven locations, four in NYC; Somerville, NJ; Miami; Beverly Hills; Waikiki; and abroad with three locations in Japan and an opening in Seoul Korea.

We had dinner recently on a Friday evening and were completely delighted. Wolfgang's charming son, Peter Zweiner was on hand to greet guests and welcome them to the Somerville location.

Our appetizer, their Chilled Seafood Tower, was nothing short of amazing, beautifully presented with the freshest crabmeat, jumbo shrimp and lobster served with Wolfgang's special cocktail sauce. The Wolfgang's Salad is a perfect blend of fresh and savory ingredients garnished with thick Canadian Bacon. Our Porterhouse Steak arrived at the table sizzling and was done to our complete liking. In fact, Wolfgang's signature is their premium meat that undergoes an onsite 28-day dry aged process. But for those that prefer, there are delicious seafood, poultry and pasta dishes like the Grilled Chilean Sea Bass, Grilled Lemon Caper Chicken and Seafood Pasta. Sides like their Mashed Potatoes, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Creamed Spinach and Asparagus compliment the entrée menu. We suggest you save room for dessert to top off your meal like their scrumptious Apple Strudel or Key Lime Pie.

For perfect pairings, Wolfgang's has an impressive array of wines including a "large bottle format" for guests. Knowledgeable servers are happy to help you make a selection to accompany your meal from their fine beverage program.

With a generous bar space, Wolfgang's in Somerville is offering a special "Grill" menu, one that is perfect to enjoy with drinks after work or for a quick bite like their Filet Mignon Tacos, Buffalo Drumsticks or Tuna Tartare Crostini. We suggest you check their live music schedule, a talented line-up of artists perfect for listening pleasure while dining or enjoying drinks.

Wolfgang's Steakhouse is located at 119 West Main Street in Somerville, New Jersey, 08876. They are open 7 days a week. Convenient downtown parking is available and reservations are suggested. Call (908) 541-0344 or visit the Wolfgang's Steakhouse web site at http://www.wolfgangssteakhouse.net/.
