Located in the bustling East Village neighborhood, Cooper's Craft & Kitchen is one of the original 2nd Avenue craft beer pioneer destinations. Now they have opened their second location in the vibrant Chelsea neighborhood. The wildly popular gastropub and cozy neighborhood eatery will expand their beer expertise, unique spirits and sophisticated pub menu across town with a location on Eighth Avenue.

Broadwayworld.com attended a recent press preview of Cooper's and enjoyed a sampling of fantastic menu offerrings along with their impressive selection of craft beers.

At the helm of this new 118-person gastropub are Thomas O'Byrne, Colin Stewart, and David Clarke, whose passion and dedication for specialty craft beer helped spearhead New York City's fascination with the craft beer phenomenon. So much so, that they have joined forces with Greenport Harbor, Peekskill Brewery, and Barrier Brewery, all local New York breweries, to create a custom-made, one-of-a-kind craft beer exclusively for the new Cooper's Craft & Kitchen restaurant in Chelsea.

Executive Chef Brendan Neville, formerly of Café Luxembourg and The Smith, will execute the menu of sharable plates and updated pub classics such as the outstanding Craft beer-battered Fish Tacos, Handmade Pretzels with Beer infused Cheese Dip, and the famous Cooper's Poutine. All menu items can be perfectly paired with any of their 24 rotating craft beers on tap, four rotating craft ciders, and their every-changing bottle menu. For the non-beer drinkers, beverage director David Clarke has created a specialty cocktail program, which showcases modern concoctions as well as classics with a twist.

Cooper's Craft & Kitchen prides itself on offering some of the rarest brews from around the world. From seasonal beers to limited edition draughts, Cooper's Craft & Kitchen truly has become, one of New York City's must visit destinations and with their newest Chelsea location, New Yorkers can now enjoy this gastropub on both sides of downtown Manhattan.

Cooper's Craft & Kitchen is open Sunday - Wednesday 11:00am to 2:00am and Thursday - Saturday from 11:00am - 3:00am with brunch coming soon.

Cooper's Craft & Kitchen is located at 169 8th Avenue, New York, NY 10011. Call them at (646) 661-7711or visit their web site at www.coopersnyc.com.
