Pirate Jonny's announces a First place Award for the Caribbean BBQ Sauce received from the Kowtown BBQ Festival, in Kissimmee, Florida. The competition featured many professional BBQ teams showing excellent BBQ products. Pirate Jonny's was named Number One. After receiving awards for the Caribbean BBQ Rubs and Seasonings in 2010 and 2011 from the National BBQ Association and The Hot Pepper Awards in New Jersey, Jonathan Toner, founder of Pirate Jonny's decided to take the award winning products and produce sauces from the rub ingredients.

Since this creation won first place, three other sauces have been produced to join the line.
