The 2020 Dreamgirls Asian Tour cast recently united virtually to create a Black Lives Matter video, encouraging people to vote.

The video was produced and directed by Alex Gibbs, who played Jimmy Early on the tour. Gibbs also reached out to the show's cast and creative team with the idea.

His team included Composer Henrey Kriger, Executive Producer Robert Longbottom Ashley Mc Mannus, Music Supervisor Cherie Rosen, Music Director Bob Brey ,Audio Engineer Collin Caston, Mastering Engineer Leonard Caston , and Visual Designer Jonathan Infante. The cast worked together to intertwine their spoken word with Henry Kriger's composition of 'Family' from Dreamgirls. Writers include Jamila Gordon, Matthew Corbin, Sharae Moultrie, Victor Daze and Alex Gibbs. The legendary Effie Role and vocal was sang by Kadejah One.
