VIDEO: ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Didn't Satisfy Tony Hale Like He Expected

During a recent comedy actor roundtable for The Hollywood Reporter, Tony Hale spoke about his feelings of dissatisfaction after booking the role of 'Buster Bluth' on ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. Watch the clip below!

"When I booked Arrested Development, I remember feeling disappointed," Hale said. "There was so much expectation because it's all I ever wanted. Then when I got it, it didn't satisfy me the way I expected."

He added: "My friend said, 'You have to wake yourself up 100 times a day to where you are.' I'm sounding like Oprah, but if you're not practicing contentment where you are now, you're not getting contentment when you get what you want."

Also involved in the THR discussion were Andy Samberg, Matt LeBlanc, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, William H. Macy and Jason Biggs.

Hale currently stars in Veep and has a few films in the queue, including Night Owls, American Ultra and Dominion.

Mitch Hurwitz's comedy series ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT debuted its fourth season on Netflix last year after a three-year run on Fox from 2003 to 2006. The series won six Emmys during its time at Fox and received three nominations after 2013's release.
