Treehouse Comedy Club in Westport Hosts Grand Re-Opening Celebration Tonight

Treehouse Comedy Productions is proud to announce its Grand Comedy Re-Opening Celebration tonight, November 22, 2014 at 9:00 along with Bistro B, centrally located in The Westport Inn at 1595 Post Road East in Westport, CT, complete with champagne, party favors and balloons. Tickets are $22 and can be purchases through our website or by calling the Treehouse Box Office.

This event is in many respects, a very special homecoming, as The Treehouse Comedy Club occupied the very same space 31 years ago when it served as a launch pad for the careers of some of comedy's best and brightest.

The club played host to many of comedy's elite. Such as:

Treehouse was the signature club in Connecticut and beyond, for rising stars, and has remained a powerful force within the CT entertainment community hosting comedy shows in clubs all across the state. With this return to its' roots, it once again is poised to be the ultimate venue to discover young talent and experience the humor of established stars alike from all across the country.

The evening will feature a pair of comic powerhouses, Joey Kola and RC Smith.

Joey is a favorite of "The Tonight Show", Comedy Central, and "The Late Show with David Letterman" as well as appearing on "The King of Queens". He is currently the warm-up comic for "The Rachel Ray Show" and "America's Got Talent."

RC is very well known in comedy circles both in CT and in New York as he is the warm-up comic for ABC-TV's "The Chew", and has worked as the warm-up comic for "The Rachel Ray Show" and "The Colbert Report".
