Landmark on Main Street will open its 2012-13 Season with Comedian Sandra Bernhard performing her new show "I Love Being Me, Don't You?"  Landmark thanks our Program Sponsors St. Francis Hospital – Emergency Medicine Department and GLen Grayson, Hoffman Grayson Architects LLP.  Landmark also gratefully acknowledges our Season Sponsor Pall Corporation and our Partners in Performing Arts: Harding Real Estate, Town of North Hempstead, Bank of America, The Peter & Jeri Dejana Family Foundation and Winthrop University Hospital for their support of our full season of programming.

Since she first stepped on stage at the Comedy Store in the '70s, Sandra Bernhard has been challenging fans and critics with her outrageous humor, keen satire and rollicking stage shows. "Give the dame her due," writes the New York Times, "It's invigorating to be in the presence of a true original."

Bernhard, who writes and develops all of her own material, has produced numerous one-woman shows over the years, among them:Without You I'm Nothing-which was released as a feature film.  Other past shows include: Excuses for Bad Behavior, Giving 'Til It Hurts, Hero Worship, the Love Machine and Everything Bad and Beautiful. Her current tour includes the stop at Landmark's Jeanne Rimsky Theater with her latest creation, I Love Being Me, Don't You?  This new comedy show will be sprinkled with a handful of songs she performs backed by her talented band.

Bernhard's show opens both Landmark's new 2012-13 Season as well as the new Landmark Laughs series that also features BIG & TALL: An Evening of Comedy with Bruce Vilanch & Judy Gold on January 19th.

Tickets Premium $55 and Standard $50 with discounts for Friends of Landmark and/or patrons purchasing both comedy series events.  Purchase through Landmark's box office 516-767-6444 or www.landmarkonmainstreet.org.
