Salute To Vienna New Year's Concert Comes To Lincoln Center

A New Year's tradition of singing and dancing, with European singers, dancers, and full orchestra!

Usher in the New Year with the dazzling spectacle of Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert at the Lincoln Center, David Geffen Hall. This concert, celebrating 24 years in North America, is a crystalline moment of timeless beauty. Inspired by the annual Viennese "Neujahrskonzert", this frothy celebration blends acclaimed European singers and dancers with a full orchestra in a fresh new programme each year. Step into Vienna's golden age and spend the afternoon caught up in the joy, grandeur, and music of a time past but not forgotten.

On New Year's Day at 2:30 p.m., join Viennese conductor Christoph Campestrini and The Strauss Symphony of America, who will perform with Viennese soprano and tenor, Iva Schell and Martin Piskorski, members of the Europaballett St.Pölten (Austria), and International Champion Ballroom Dancers. Audiences young and old will be carried away by the first notes of the eternal Blue Danube Waltz.

The concert takes place at Lincoln Center in David Geffen Hall, 10 Lincoln Center Plaza, New York, NY 10023. For more information visit www.salutetovienna.com. For tickets call 212-721-6500 or order online at www.lincolncenter.org.
