New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Returns To Red Bank

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) will be returning to Marine Park on the banks of the Navesink River at 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 1 to perform Broadway hits and rousing opera overtures during the 2nd annual Sunday in the Park... with the Symphony. This event is free and open to the public.

The special concert is organized by Red Bank RiverCenter (RiverCenter) and the downtown business community with the assistance of presenting sponsor Riverview Medical Center, and sponsors Juanitos Red Bank and OceanFirst Bank.

As the sun sets on the banks of the Navesink, the entire community is invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy a lovely evening filled with music and dancing in Marine Park. Concertgoers can enjoy classics like Crazy for You and catch a glimpse of a shooting star during Rossini's fiery William Tell Overture. Film aficionados may even hear a familiar tune from a galaxy far, far away. For guests of all ages, Sunday in the Park... with the Symphony promises to be an enjoyable summer's evening that celebrates the fun and familiar in Red Bank's picturesque riverfront park.

This one-of-a-kind musical performance provides patrons with the opportunity to experience the harmonies of the NJSO with breathtaking views of the Navesink River as the backdrop. Those with maritime vessels are encouraged to take advantage of the show's proximity to the river and listen from the water.

Whether coming to town early or staying for an after-show stroll, patrons are encouraged to take advantage of Red Bank's walkable Downtown district. Guests can shop the town's array of boutique retailers, indulge in a sit-down dinner or get an order to-go to bring with them to the sunset performance. New Jersey Symphony Orchestra
