Music Institute of Chicago to Host Free Open Houses This September

The Music Institute of Chicago invites musicians of all ages and abilities to consider private instruction and group class opportunities with its highly respected faculty of professionals beginning in September.

To provide more information, the Music Institute will host a series of free fall musical petting zoos and registration days at a range of campuses and other locations throughout September. Children can try a variety of instruments, and parents can learn about options for their children's music education. There will be special discounts and offers, plus a raffle drawing, refreshments, games, and more.

The dates, times, and locations are:

Sunday, September 10, 2-4 p.m., Winnetka Campus, 300 Green Bay Road

Wednesday, September 13, 4-5 p.m., Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 30 Riverwoods, Lincolnshire

Saturday, September 16, 2-4 p.m., Lake Forest Campus, 40 East Old Mill Road

Sunday, September 17, 2-4 p.m., Evanston East Campus, 1490 Chicago Avenue

Saturday, September 23, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., St. James Cathedral, downtown Chicago Campus, 65 E. Huron Street

Saturday, September 30, 11 a.m.-12 noon, Vernon Area Public Library, 300 Olde Half Day Road, Lincolnshire

Fall private instruction begins Tuesday, September 5. Group classes for all ages, starting as young as one month, begin Tuesday, September 19. For more information, visit musicinst.org/fall-registration-now-open.
